About Dr. Colleran
 
Elizabeth Colleran graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. After completing an internship in Massachusetts she worked in small animal general practice until 1995. In 1996, she received a Master of Science degree in Animals and Public Policy from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. Beginning in 1997, Dr. Colleran changed her focus to exclusively feline medicine and joined the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP). An invitation to become a Fellow in the Academy of Feline Medicine followed in 1998. In 2003, Dr. Colleran was invited to join the Board of AAFP. She will be in the incoming president of the American Association of Feline Practitioners in 2011.
